1975 Our Lady Help of Christians National Church began in 1900 as a church at 19th and Morgan Streets rented from the Presbyterians for Italian Catholics. In 1902 this location was abandoned in favor of the formerly Protestant church property at 10th and Washington streets. The church was established as a chapel of ease dependent on the parish church of St. Charles Borromeo on Locust and Twenty-ninth. In 1975 the parish was closed and the church razed.
