Ascension / St. Paul-Normandy

Ascension Church (Normandy) was established in 1947 with Masses temporarily being celebrated at the Passionist Monastery. A church/school building was dedicated in 1949. In 1963 a new church was built at Nelson and Fairchild Dr. The Sisters of Divine Providence provided teachers and administration for many years. In 1995 St. Paul Church in Pine Lawn merged with Ascension. The parish was closed on June 30, 2008.
