St. Henry

St Henry's National German parish was founded in 1885. It was located at Hickory and California in south St. Louis. Its school, also begun in 1885 was staffed by Ursuline Sisters until 1890 when the Oldenberg Franciscans took over that role. In 1972 the Augustinian Fathers pastored the parish. In 1977 St. Henry’s merged with Immaculate Conception (city). It is now the property of Grace Chapel Ministries et al. (2009)
