St. Jerome

St. Jerome (Bissell Hills) was established in 1952. It was located at 10235 Ashbrook Dr. A 2^nd church was built in 1961. Its school, begun in 1954, was staffed by the Precious Blood Sisters of Ruma, IL until 1974, thence run with a lay faculty. It merged with Corpus Christi, St. Pius X, Our Lady of Good Counsel, and St. Catherine of Alexandria in 2005. The church at this site is now Holy Name of Jesus.
