St. Thomas of Aquin, established in 1882, was located at 3949 Iowa (St. Louis). In began as a Jesuit Mission in 1850. From 1906-1932 its school was served by the Madames of the Sacred Heart, later the Sisters of St. Joseph ran the school, c. 1932. It was a home for the Vietnamese people beginning in 1997 and closed in 2005. It is now owned by Zion City Church. The Vietnamese community now worships at Resurrection Church.
