The Chancellor is the chief notary of the Archdiocese, notarizing all official Archdiocesan decrees and documentation. The Chancellor's responsibilities also include gathering, safeguarding and archiving many of the written and/or recorded activities of the Archdiocese. His office also ensures all official Archdiocesan documents are properly drafted, signed and maintained in authentic form.
