Project Joseph Counseling

ManCounseling is a huge help to many men trying to come to terms with their abortion experience. One-on-one counseling in a private, confidential setting provides a safe place to speak openly about your experiences. The process allows you to process the feelings you are experiencing to get "unstuck" from the cycle of emotions and come to a greater self-awareness. Men learn methods of healthy functioning and problem solving. Through counseling, many men have been able to reach a place where they are no longer haunted by past regrets and are able to live with hope for the future.

Project Joseph offers free, professional, confidential counseling to any man wounded by an abortion experience, regardless of how long it has been.

Project Joseph counselors are specially trained to help men deal with abortion experiences. They recognize and understand that abortion is a traumatic experience and that men face different emotions and circumstances.

Through generous donations, counseling through Project Joseph is available free of charge.

We encourage you to call 314-792-7565 or email stlprojectjoseph@archstl.org to learn more or to meet with a Project Joseph counselor.

Project Rachel: Post-Abortion Healing Programs

There is Hope After Abortion.

Project RachelAre you feeling guilt, shame, anger, grief, or depression as a result of an abortion experience? Women have a wide variety of experiences with abortion. Some women chose to have an abortion because they were overwhelmed with the idea of raising a child while working or going to school. Some women feel that they couldn't care for or support a child. Some women felt pressured to get an abortion by the father of the child, a parent, or other family member. Some women got an abortion because they were told their child had some birth defect or medical problem and that abortion was the better choice.

No matter what your experience was or how long it has been since the abortion, hope, healing, and forgiveness are available.
