St. Peter's Cemetery has an arched entrance, erected in 2008, near the corner of Geyer Road and West Monroe Avenue. The single road meanders through the cemetery and circles Section 6, the burial section for priests of St. Peter's Catholic church and the Ursuline nuns. The traditional burial section which offers either monument or lawn level marker lots is on the right, as are the lawn crypts identified by the granite faced retaining wall. New burial section have been opened, one directly across from the priest lot, known as Section 8, the other along Geyer Road, Section 4X.
This cemetery continues to be active today. Contact the Resurrection office or email your request for lot availability and pricing information. Memorialization options will also be discussed at this time. There are lots for private family mausoleums and sarcophagi as well.
