The Office of Communications and Planning oversees all aspects of marketing & mission awareness, media relations, pastoral planning and publications for the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Our ultimate focus is to support the evangelistic goals put forth by Archbishop Robert J. Carlson and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ through our work.
As outlined in the archdiocesan communications strategy, "The communication mission for the archdiocese supports the work of the archbishop, archdiocesan leaders, Catholic organizations, parishes, and schools proclaiming that our faith is vibrant and hope-filled - Christ is alive and active in our world. Its purpose is to give focus and direction and convey to every Catholic and all people that every Catholic parish, school, and organization can be a vibrant community of faith carrying out the teaching ministry of Jesus in ways that are visible, transformative, and service-oriented."
I welcome you to explore our website further to learn more about each of our ministries. We are incorporating new technologies to enhance traditional communication methods and establishing stronger relationships across the archdiocese to better support our mission. Through collaboration and focus, the Office of Communications and Planning is committed to supporting the mission of every Catholic organization within the archdiocese and ultimately promoting the good works of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Blessings,
Executive Director of Communications and Planning
