The Archdiocese of St. Louis makes available announcements for use in parish bulletins. Parishes may use these announcements in their bulletins, calendars, and online.

  • Anyone can submit a bulletin announcement.
  • Please submit announcements at least four weeks in advance of the date of the event.
  • Include contact information for all announcements, even if this information is not to be included with the announcement. Announcements submitted without contact information will not be posted.
  • All submitted announcements are subject to approval and editing.

On Monday, June 27, 2016 7:00 pm at St. Alphonsus “Rock” Church in St. Louis, MO, the Archdicoese of St. Louis will be joining the Redemptorist missionaries in celebrating 150 years of spreading devotion to Mary. Archbishop of Indianapolis Joseph Tobin, C.Ss.R. and the Redemptorists of the Denver Province will be in attendance as we honor Our Mother of Perpetual Help. Eyes on the Prize, the acclaimed 14 hour documentary telling the story of the civil rights movement in America, will be presented through a marathon simulcast on Nine PBS and in the Public Media Commons. You can start tuning in to PBS (Channel 9) on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 7:00 p.m., with a kick-off live broadcast of Stay Tuned. Coverage of the marathon continues on Saturday with an Eye on the Prize Watch Party at 12:00 p.m. and performances by area choirs from 3:00-5:00 p.m. emceed by national recording artist Brian Owens. This month's speaker is Father Randy Soto, Professor of Sacred Scripture at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary. Every Friday and Saturday from May 6th & 7th through May 27th & 28th starting at 11:00 am until sunset, the Eureka Knights of Columbus will be providing delicious BBQ lunches and dinners at “The Spur”. Look for us between the ball fields and Hwy 109, near the intersection of Hwy 109 and S. Central/Augustine Rd (North side of Hwy 109, 1/2 mile south of Hwy 44). Pork Steaks, Chicken, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, and Brats will be available as part of a full lunch or dinner with or without sides. Drinks are also available. Carry out or eat there at picnic tables. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. We hope to see you again this year. Proceeds are used to support Most Sacred Heart Church and School and many other worthy organizations in the Eureka area.

The class takes about 10 weeks and lasts pretty well the whole summer beginning in June, 3 hours per week, for about 10 weeks. Mark supervises the participant's work and the final product is far better than any of our group ever expected.
