Young Adult Discipulus Institute | 3 weeks 5 days ago
Join young adults from across the Archdiocese for the Fall 2014 Discipulus Class. Fr. Fadi Auro will be teaching a six week course on "How to Pray." Class will meet Mondays 7:00-8:30 PM at the Cardinal Rigali Center, starting October 13th. The cost is $25. Practicing prayer presupposes an adequate understanding of the nature of Christian prayer. Many, alas, stunt the development of their interior life because they either do not pray, or they do not pray correctly -- as the Lord taught us. This class will first examine the Catholic idea of prayer in order to show both what is, and what it isn't: only then can one see why prayer is absolutely indispensable to the Christian life. The how of prayer will then become easier to understand. While the class will survey several methods of prayer, it will focus mainly on what they hold in common: to pray as Jesus taught us to pray. Learn more & register at http://archstl.org/youngadults/page/discipulus-institute-young-adult-fa Please email stlya@archstl.org with any questions! We look forward to having you.
