The Archdiocese of St. Louis makes available announcements for use in parish bulletins. Parishes may use these announcements in their bulletins, calendars, and online.

  • Anyone can submit a bulletin announcement.
  • Please submit announcements at least four weeks in advance of the date of the event.
  • Include contact information for all announcements, even if this information is not to be included with the announcement. Announcements submitted without contact information will not be posted.
  • All submitted announcements are subject to approval and editing.

Using Content from Others: You may not use content from other websites or any printed materials without expressed written consent. A best practice for the protection of our websites is to provide links to websites with the original materials that we wish to share.

The 2015 High School Nights will be held in September and October. Nine locations will host these events that give an opportunity for 6th, 7th and 8th graders and their families to hear three presentations from high schools in an evening. St. Joachim Parish (Old Mines) will be holding its annual Fall Festival on Sunday, September 13, 2015, beginning at 11:00 am. Fried Chicken and Roast Beef dinners will be served Buffet Style in our air-conditioned school hall from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. We will also have an outdoor Hamburger Stand, Roasted Corn on the Cob, Live music provided by the “Hoosier Day Band” and “Canyon”, Bingo, Raffle for $1000 Saving Bond or $500 Cash, plus 8 other Prizes, A Hand-crafted Cedar Chest Raffle (chest filled with household items), Country Store, Children’s games, Inflatables, Horse rides, Barrel Train Rides, Homemade Ice Cream, Kettle Corn, and 3 children’s contests, along with activities for all ages. FORMING MEN FOR CHRIST: A MONTHLY CONFERENCE WITH FATHER JAMES MASON | 1 week 1 day ago
Reverend James Mason, J.D., President-Rector of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary, is inviting all men for a Mass, talk and refreshments at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 106 N. Meramec in Clayton, MO, every second Thursday of the month. The next meeting will be on Thursday, August 13th. Mass will be in the Church at 6:30 a.m., with coffee, refreshments and Father Mason’s talk from 7 a.m. until 7:45 a.m. in the Church basement. Participants are welcome to attend any part of the morning. Plenty of free parking is available on the Church lot. Sunday, August 9 marks the one-year anniversary of the events in Ferguson, Missouri, which have mobilized people of all faiths to pray seeking peace and justice in our city, nation, and other areas of our world facing troubling situations. Archbishop Carlson, Bishop Rice, and Bishop Hermann will remember these events and their impact at the 10:00 am Mass on August 9 at the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis. Additionally, members of the new Peace and Justice Commission will be officially commissioned at this Mass.

Criminal Justice Ministry Trivia Night | 2 weeks 5 days ago
On Saturday, August 22, Criminal Justice Ministry will host its 4th annual Trivia Night at St. James the Greater Gym, 1360 Tamm Avenue in Dogtown. Registration fee is $200 for a table of eight and includes beer, soda, and snacks (outside food and drink also welcome). Doors open at 6:00 pm with trivia at 7:00 pm. This fun evening will also include plenty of games, raffles, and cash prizes. All proceeds benefit CJM, an independent non-profit organization affiliated with the Archdiocese of St. Louis serving individuals and families affected by crime and the criminal justice system.
