The Archdiocese of St. Louis makes available announcements for use in parish bulletins. Parishes may use these announcements in their bulletins, calendars, and online.

  • Anyone can submit a bulletin announcement.
  • Please submit announcements at least four weeks in advance of the date of the event.
  • Include contact information for all announcements, even if this information is not to be included with the announcement. Announcements submitted without contact information will not be posted.
  • All submitted announcements are subject to approval and editing.

"The Whisperings of God: Embracing Lectio Divina, Visio Divina, and Life Lectio" will be offered at Mercy Center, Frontenac on Saturday, November 4 and/or Sunday, November 5, 2017 Registration 8:30 A.M. Program 9:00 A.M.—3:30 P.M. In the Christian Tradition the whisperings of God have always been heard through the practice of sacred reading called Lectio Divina. Recognizing that the Spirit speaks to our hearts in the living word of Scripture, presentations will explore the roots of the prayer practices of Lectio Divina (11/4) as well as Visio Divina and Life Lectio (11/5), provide an experience of the prayer, and invite participants to share their experience. Presenter: Mary Katherine Doyle, RSM is the Novice Minister for the Sisters of Mercy Novitiate in St. Louis. Trained in history and spirituality, she has ministered in education, communications, faith formation, spiritual direction and retreat ministries. Cost for both days, including registration: $120.
