Missouri Senate Poised to Vote on Historic Pro-life Bill | 5 weeks 3 days ago
The Missouri Catholic Conference is urging Catholics to contact their state Senator immediately. On Monday, July 24, the state Senate will consider House amended SB 5, the strongest pro-life bill to be considered by the General Assembly in many decades. This legislation will protect the health and safety of women, require unannounced inspections of abortion clinics, ensure that women hear medical information from a doctor before deciding whether to obtain an abortion, overturn the St. Louis “abortion sanctuary” ordinance and prohibit other municipalities from passing similar ordinances, and much more. To easily send a message to your state Senator, visit www.mocatholic.org.
