The Archdiocese of St. Louis makes available announcements for use in parish bulletins. Parishes may use these announcements in their bulletins, calendars, and online.

  • Anyone can submit a bulletin announcement.
  • Please submit announcements at least four weeks in advance of the date of the event.
  • Include contact information for all announcements, even if this information is not to be included with the announcement. Announcements submitted without contact information will not be posted.
  • All submitted announcements are subject to approval and editing.

The Fourth Annual “No Place Like Home” 5K Run/Walk will be held Saturday, October 14 in Tower Grove Park in south St. Louis City. 5K run begins at 9:00 a.m. and the 1-mile walk begins at 9:10 a.m. The event will benefit Depaul USA-St. Louis, supporting people experiencing homelessness. Sts. Peter & Paul Fall Festival - Sunday, September 24 - 11 a.m - 3:00 p.m | 45 weeks 21 hours ago
Sts. Peter and Paul Fall Festival begins with Mass at 9:30 a.m. and is followed by a “Breakfast.” Tickets are $12.00 each and by reservation only (no tickets sold at the door). Tables of 8 – if you want to sit with a select group, send in one reservation for the entire group as there will be assigned seating. Come & enjoy the music of “THE GASLIGHT SQUARES” jazz band from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. The Fall Festival “Grand Raffle”; the first 4 prize winners will receive a little bit of Sts. Peter & Paul History. Dale Preston of Preston Art Glass Studios has restored sections of our old Rose Window which graced our church since 1874. These stained glass window “light catchers” come ready to hang in any window. Prizes 5, 6 & 7 will each be $100.00 cash prizes. The 8th prize package is from Bogart’s Smoke House and all remaining prizes will each be $75.00 worth of restaurant gift certificates. We will have 60 plus silent auction baskets, a cake booth, pull-tabs, a bounce house & face painting for the kids. Hot dogs, brats, barbeque sandwiches, nachos and refreshments will be sold outside as well.

Laws Changing for Adoptees and Birth Parents | 45 weeks 1 day ago
Effective January 1, 2018, laws impacting adult adoptees born in Missouri after 1941 will change. Adults who have been adopted with a closed adoption will now have access to their original birth certificates. For women and men who have placed a child for adoption after the year 1941, they may be contacted by their birth children or birth children's families. Adult adoptees may have access to birth parents name, date of birth, race, occupation, and address. To have birth parents names and other identifying information redacted from documents that adoptees receive, visit www.health.mo.gov to fill out the Birth Parent Contact Preference Form. Any questions may be directed to the Adoption Program at Good Shepherd Children & Family Services by calling 314-854-5700.
