The Archdiocese of St. Louis makes available announcements for use in parish bulletins. Parishes may use these announcements in their bulletins, calendars, and online.

  • Anyone can submit a bulletin announcement.
  • Please submit announcements at least four weeks in advance of the date of the event.
  • Include contact information for all announcements, even if this information is not to be included with the announcement. Announcements submitted without contact information will not be posted.
  • All submitted announcements are subject to approval and editing.

The IHM Spring Sausage Dinner will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2017 serving from 11:00am to 6:00pm. Our whole hog pork sausage dinners served family style include homemade breads and desserts. We also offer cafeteria-style express dining in our outside pavilion for guests who may want to avoid standing in line. Carry-outs are available. Adult dinners - $12, children ages 6 to 12 - $6; ages 5 and under eat free. Handicap parking and free shuttle service on the premises will be available. The day's activities also include a craft bazaar, country store, pull tabs, quilt raffle, 50/50, wine and beer garden, livers and gizzards, and live music. Join us for the entire day, starting with Mass at 7:30 or 9:30am. Our church and hall are located at the intersection of Highway Z and Highway D, just 7 miles south of I-70 on Highway Z; 10 miles west of Highway 94 or Highway D.
AUDITIONS FOR THE YOUNG CATHOLIC MUSICIANS The choir and orchestra of The Young Catholic Musicians are holding auditions in preparation for their 44th Year of service to the Church. These young people (aged 9-17) represent over 50 parishes and schools in the Archdiocese of St. Louis. St. Vincent DePaul Women's Auxiliary is sponsoring a Plant Sale at St. Dominic Savio Parish on Saturday, April 29th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and again on Sunday, April 30th from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. All proceeds go directly to St. Vincent DePaul. We are excited about being able to bring these lovely flowers and herbs to you at a reasonable price once again. The Pilgrimage of Trust is an event that is meant to bring together people of various backgrounds, whether that be socio-economic, racial or faith. It was launched over 35 years ago by Taizé’s founder, Brother Roger, in order to foster trust between people through living and praying together. As part of the Taizé Pilgrimage of Trust in St. Louis, Assumption Parish will host a night of prayer and trust on Thursday, May 11, from 7-9 p.m. The ecumenical evening begins with song and prayer, includes a short video, and time to be part of a conversation on trust. It will be held at Assumption Church, 4725 Mattis Rd., 63128. Refreshments will be served after the night of prayer. Every Friday and Saturday from May 26th and 27th through June 16th and 17th starting at 11:00 am until sunset, the Most Sacred Heart Knights of Columbus will be serving delicious BBQ lunches and dinners at “The Spur” concession stand. Look for us between the ball fields and Hwy 109, near the intersection of Hwy 109 and S. Central/Augustine Rd. 1/2 mile South of I-44 on Hwy 109. Ribs, Pork Steaks, Chicken, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, and Brats will be available as part of a full lunch or dinner with or without sides. Drinks are also available. Carry out or eat there at picnic tables. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Profits help support Most Sacred Heart’s Church, Parish School, St Vincent de Paul and other Parish organizations. We hope to see you again this year.
