The Archdiocese of St. Louis makes available announcements for use in parish bulletins. Parishes may use these announcements in their bulletins, calendars, and online.

  • Anyone can submit a bulletin announcement.
  • Please submit announcements at least four weeks in advance of the date of the event.
  • Include contact information for all announcements, even if this information is not to be included with the announcement. Announcements submitted without contact information will not be posted.
  • All submitted announcements are subject to approval and editing.

THE 40TH ANNUAL CHRISTMAS CONCERT OF THE YOUNG CATHOLIC MUSICIANS We invite you to attend the 40th Christmas Concert of the Young Catholic Musicians December 28th & 29th at Seven Holy Founders Church from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. We are pleased to welcome Msgr. Dennis Stehly, Vicar General of the Archdiocese of St. Louis & Moderator of the Curia who will read the narration on Thursday, December 28th and Mrs. Theresa Ruzicka, President of Catholic Charities of St. Louis who will read the narration on Friday, December 29th. Tickets are $10.00 each for reserved seating in the pews in the front half of the church and $5.00 each for General Admission seating in the last seven rows of the church. The pews will be marked Reserved and General Admission pews. You may also place your name in our program book. This indicates your further support of these young people. St. Alphonsus Liguori “Rock” Catholic Church will present a Christmas Celebration Concert on December 17, 2017, from 4 - 6 pm. This historic Redemptorist church is celebrating 150 years at the same location on Grand Avenue in St. Louis. Among the splendor of the gothic design and German stain glass, installed in 1904, “The Rock Church” houses the Wicks Opus 1228 pipe organ. Installed in 1934, this organ is one of only four remaining of its type. Voices of St. Alphonsus, is an award winning gospel choir lead by Mr. Danny DuMaine. Annually they bring the Spirit of Christ’s birth to life in a holiday concert. The concert is free however; they appreciate a free will donation. Following the concert, the donations will be sent to the Missouri Children’s Division, Foster Care program.

Currently, the Little Sisters of the Poor have openings in both their Nursing and Independent Living Areas. A resident must be at least 65 years of age and have limited financial resources to be considered. These living arrangements offer a large single room, fully furnished, with a private bathroom. Meals, laundry and housekeeping are included in the rent. The rent is subsidized, based on income, assets and medical expenses. Private pay, long-term care insurance, and Medicaid are accepted for the Nursing Area. The mission of the Little Sisters of the Poor is to welcome the needy elderly of any faith into their Home as they would Jesus Christ himself, and serve them with love and respect until death. The Christmas Wishes family sponsorship program assists more than 525 St. Patrick Center clients/families, many who have little or no money to purchase Christmas gifts for their children. We need parishes and parishioners to sponsor clients/families and purchase a minimum of two gifts. We also need $20 Schnucks and Target gift cards for single clients in our day treatment program.
