The Archdiocese of St. Louis makes available announcements for use in parish bulletins. Parishes may use these announcements in their bulletins, calendars, and online.

  • Anyone can submit a bulletin announcement.
  • Please submit announcements at least four weeks in advance of the date of the event.
  • Include contact information for all announcements, even if this information is not to be included with the announcement. Announcements submitted without contact information will not be posted.
  • All submitted announcements are subject to approval and editing.

On Sunday, November 20 at the 10:00 a.m. Mass at the Cathedral Basilica, Good Shepherd Children and Family Services, and the Archdiocesan Respect Life Apostolate will celebrate adoptive and birth parents and families of the Archdiocese of Saint Louis. All who have made an adoption plan for a child, adopted a child or children, those who await adoption of a child, and those who were adopted are invited to participate in this celebration of a “gift of love twice given”. Following Mass, there will be a reception in Boland Hall.

On Sunday, November 6, 2016, Bishop Robert Hermann will offer a Mass for parents who have lost a child due to miscarriage, stillbirth, accident or abortion. The Mass will be at 10 a.m. at the Cathedral Basilica. All in the Archdiocese are invited to attend, however, RSVP's are requested to assist with planning. Hungarian-Style Lunches Have Returned to St. Mary of Victories! | 7 weeks 3 days ago
Come to Mass, Stay for Lunch! St. Mary of Victories Church, the Hungarian parish for the Archdiocese of St. Louis, is resuming its Hungarian-Style lunches on the Third Sunday of Each month following the 11 am Mass. Meals will be served in the Parish Hall. Cost: Adult $8, Children $5 - Soda $1. November 20 we will be having fabulous Hungarian Stuffed Cabbage Rolls! The Adult Meal will include two cabbage rolls, sauerkraut, potatoes, and bread! Dr. Eugene Megyesy to Visit St. Mary of Victories | 7 weeks 3 days ago
Dr. Eugene Megyesy, who is a Senior Cabinet adviser to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will be visiting St. Mary of Victories for 10 am Mass and a Reception. The visit is in honor of the 60th Anniversary of the Hungarian Uprising and of Cardinal Joszef Mindszenty taking refuge in the U.S. Embassy. St. Mary of Victories (744 South 3rd Street, St. Louis) has been the Hungarian Parish for the Archdiocese of St. Louis since 1957 and is the second oldest Church in the City of St. Louis. Dr. Megyesy is a 'survivor' of the '56 Hungarian uprising against Communism who came at that time to the US and practiced law in Denver for many years before returning to Hungary to take up his present position. He will be visiting St. Louis as a guest of Mr. Ed Martin, President of the Eagle Forum. Please join us for this historic event. All Saints Day Mass and Veneration of the Saints On Tuesday, Nov 1, St. Mary of Victories Church (744 S. Third Street, St. Louis) will be having mass at 7 pm, and a prayerful evening viewing of our many special relics from 5:30 to 8 pm. Some of the relics include: Fragment of the True Cross, Piece of the Crown of Thorns, Piece from the Pillar on which Our Lord was scourged, Fragment of the Sponge from which he drank vinegar, Fragment from the Holy Sepulcher, Piece of the Veil of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Fragment of the Cloak of St. Joseph, St. Simon and St. Jude Apostles, St. Aloysius Gonzaga, S.J., Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos, and hundreds more (just about any saint you can think of) in our high and side altars. Good Shepherd Children & Family Services is hosting an Adoption Awareness Day on November 19, 2016, during November's National Adoption Month. Good Shepherd (and our legacy agency, Catholic Services for Children & Youth) has helped to grow families through adoption in St. Louis since the mid-1800s. We are looking for volunteers to help spread the word that adoption is a loving and life-giving decision to our community. The custodian of the statue will speak after each Mass to explain the visions at Fatima to the three children and the importance of the Virgin Mary's requests especially in these times.
