The Archdiocese of St. Louis makes available announcements for use in parish bulletins. Parishes may use these announcements in their bulletins, calendars, and online.

  • Anyone can submit a bulletin announcement.
  • Please submit announcements at least four weeks in advance of the date of the event.
  • Include contact information for all announcements, even if this information is not to be included with the announcement. Announcements submitted without contact information will not be posted.
  • All submitted announcements are subject to approval and editing.

In honor of the bicentennial anniversary of St. Rose Philippine's arrival in the Saint Louis Archdiocese, St. Francis Community Services is offering a very special tour of her two local shrines. A few seats are still available. We will gather at the Academy of the Sacred Heart, St. Charles, at 9 a.m. for coffee and pastries, followed by a tour of the shrine, where St. Philippine has been laid to rest. Then, we'll board a bus to head to the Old St. Ferdinand Shrine, Florissant, where this pioneer saint spent more than 20 years. Enjoy lunch, "saintly trivia," the shrine tour, and Mass in the St. Ferdinand Church with Msgr. Jack Schuler, before returning by bus to St. Charles around 4 p.m. To round out your day, you may want to catch the free trolley at the north end of Main Street (just a few blocks from the Academy) to explore the rich history and delightful shops and restaurants of Old Town St. Charles. St. Francis Borgia Parish Fall Festival, September 9 & 10, 2017 On Saturday, September 9, 2017 join us for an Outdoor Mass beginning at 6:30 pm under the tent. Open-Air Dance will be starting at 8:00 pm featuring Onyx. On Sunday, September 10, 2017. We will be serving Deep Fried Chicken & Roast Beef Dinners from 11:00 am till 6:00 pm in the Grade School cafeteria, Second & Cedar Street, Washington, MO. The cafeteria is air conditioned and handicapped accessible. Dinners are served family style with sides including mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, slaw, homemade tomato relish and desserts.
