Marketing and Mission Awareness
The Department of Marketing and Mission Awareness was created in order to promote the good works of the Archdiocese of St. Louis to the general public and staff, promote a greater understanding of the New Evangelization, and a better means by which to disseminate this message, which is essential to the growth and support of the Church in the 21st century.
A few of the functions of Marketing and Mission Awareness are:
- Coordination of overall messaging and branding for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
- Serve as a communication resource to the Curia agencies, parishes, religious orders, and schools.
- Coordination of communication needs for Archdiocesan special events.
- Development and oversight of office/agency specific ads—TV, radio, print, etc.
- Identifying and utilizing various means of social communications for the Archbishop, priests, offices, agencies, orders, etc., for use as an evangelization tool.
- Assisting the various offices throughout the Archdiocese with marketing plans.
- Coordination and oversight of E-mail marketing.
- Utilization of media outlets for positive messaging.
- Assisting in the marketing of religious orders and parishes.
- Advancement of the overall mission of the universal Church and the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
