Father Cavitt is the Center’s chief staff officer. The former chaplain, spiritual and administrative advisor and coordinator of the Center’s evangelization ministry, he still serves as developer and facilitator of programs. He remains the primary pastoral caregiver and regularly presides at weekly Mass sponsored by the Center every Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. in St. Elizabeth, Mother of John the Baptist Church (next door to the Center). In residence at St. Elizabeth, he maintains a schedule of liturgies and speaking engagements throughout the archdiocese and other cities. Mrs. Cox coordinates preparation classes for the Sacrament of Confirmation for youth; co-chairs KUJENGA, an annual African American Catholic Youth Leadership Conference; facilitates the Fallible Human Beings (FHB) Program in collaboration with the Sisters of St. Joseph and Youth Ministers of the North City Deanery; facilitates the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Pre-Teen Classes; and serves as a resource for the Center’s sponsoring parishes and schools to provide positive experiences for youth.

Mr. Williams is responsible for all accounts payable and receivable, and as well, serves as procurement and information technology support person. He also coordinates the Benefactor-Sponsor-Patron contribution program and "Pre Cana" Marriage Preparation Program.
He became a member Center's staff in September 1990 and has been involved with the Center in some capacity since its inception.

Mrs. Washington began as a volunteer at the Lwanga Center in the summer of 2001 and has been a member of the staff since March, 2002.
She is responsible for providing assistance to the staff, manages the daily activities and tasks of the Center and coordinates projects with the assistance of Lwanga Angels. Margaret also serves as Agency Coordinator for the Ministry of Consolation and Archival Coordinator for the Resource/Research room. She is the point of contact for the quarterly Newsletter and a Testimonial Dinner committee member.
