Colleen is a staff member at the Mission Office. She is the Holy Childhood Association Coordinator and Website Manager.
My fiancé and I were recently on a daytrip down around Ste. Genevieve. Over the course of several road trips that we’ve taken together, we’ve learned that driving through hills, fields, and farmland – just the two of us – really lends itself to some good conversation. We’ve had a lot of great discussions about all kinds of things. On this particular daytrip, we were talking about religion, and we got to talking about Bolivia. I was sharing some of the stories that I’ve heard from our missionaries in Bolivia, and he said, “It sounds like the people really have the faith of a child.” While I never really thought about it that way, I think that’s true … not only for Bolivia, but for many mission countries worldwide. Working at this office has allowed me to witness though stories, photos, and personal conversations the faith that so many of these people have. They love and pray and believe with all their hearts. I think their pure joy is what really stands out most to me. Below are some pictures that I think show “the faith of a child” from around the world. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we all got to experience our faith and our love for God in this way?
