Mobile App - Catholic STL
The Archdiocese of St. Louis has an app for the iPhone. This App can be downloaded for free from the iTunes App Store (click on the image below), and works with any iPhone or iPod Touch that's connected to the Internet.
The App helps the faithful in the Archdiocese find parish information, see the latest news from around the Archdiocese, and view and submit prayer requests. Here are the main features of the App:
Parishes
You can find parishes, Mass times, Reconciliation times, and Adoration times in the Parishes section of the app. You can also easily find directions to any parish, or search for parishes by name, around your current location, or any address you enter.
News
All the latest news stories from the Archdiocesan website are displayed in a 'News' section of the App. You can tap on a news story to view the full story, share the link with friends or open the story in your browser.
Prayers
You can view prayer requests that are posted from people all around the world, and you can Add your own prayer requests (they will be approved before being posted to the website), by simply tapping the 'Add' button. There are 8 orders of sisters in St. Louis and Belleville who add these prayers to their own daily prayer list.
