Infertility Support Group
A discussion group meeting will be held on the second Wednesday of each month from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. at Mercy Hospital, Department of Fertility Care Services, 11700 Studt Road, Suite C (one block south of Olive on Studt Road, east of new Ballas Road). This group has been formed to provide an opportunity to meet with others experiencing infertility to share insights, feelings and experiences. Experience the Lord's Consolation and Hope
Our Infertility Support Group gathers each year for celebration of the Mass and fellowship on or around St. Valentine's Day. The Mass this year, February 13, 2012, was cancelled due to weather conditions.
On May 1,2012 Deacon Brian Fallon celebrated a special prayer service for those who suffer from Infertility and for the members of the Archdiocesan Infertility Support Group. The prayer service began at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of the Cardinal Rigali Center, 20 Archbishop May Drive, St. Louis, MO 63119. Ligth refreshment will follow in the Lally room. Humanae Vitae Association
Mission Statement
Recognizing the precious gift the Lord has bestowed upon us in married love, the mission of the Humanae Vitae Association is twofold.
First, the Humanae Vitae Association will minister to the community and serve as a voice to promote all forms of natural family planning as not only safe and reliable methods of achieving and avoiding pregnancy, but also as tools which foster deeper communication between spouses.
Second, the Humanae Vitae Association shall serve to meet the needs of support and fellowship among all members of our community who share our commitment to honor God’s wish for married couples.

Humanae Vitae Mass
The anniversary of the encyclical, Humanae Vitae, is celebrated with an annual Mass and dinner for the NFP community. at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis, the “parish” church of all St. Louisans. This year's Mass, June 30, 2012, will be celebrated by Bishop Edward Rice. A family dinner followed. Reservations are necessary for dinner, but not for the Mass.
Annual Trivia Party to Support the Archbishop Robert J. Carlson Adoption Fund
In 2009, the Infertility Support Group and the Office of Natural Family Planning began raising funds to award grant money to couples suffering with Infertility who wished to adopt. The grant is funded in large part by the annual Trivia Party. Information on the grant and Trivia Party can be obtained by calling the Office of Natural Family Planning (314) 997-7576.
Mother/Daughter Teas and Father/Son: Boys into Men programs
The programs, developed by the Department of Fertility Care Services, are presented to girls and their mothers or female guardians and boys and their fathers or male guardinas by registered nurses, doctors and a panel including teens. They emphasize respect, understanding, and appreciation of sexuality while encouraging parent/child communication.The Teas are held twice a year - in Spring and Fall -for 10-12 year olds and in Spring for 13-17 year olds.The Boys into Men programs are also held twice a year for 11-12 year olds and in Spring for 13-17 year olds.All are located at the Von Gontard Conference Center at Mercy Hospital, 615 South New Ballas Road.The cost, which includes a light meal is $40.00 per family.
