Strengthen evangelization efforts in parishes and schools that are effective and ongoing by:
a. Offering follow-up programs to recent efforts (e.g., Catholics Come Home and Catholic St. Louis) that will engage all parishes, schools and Archdiocesan agencies in outreach to Catholics who are no longer active and others who seek to know more about the Catholic faith.

Begin: 2011 End: Ongoing
Priority Four states: to strengthen effective ongoing evangelization efforts in parishes and schools by providing outreach programs for parents after a child is baptized to welcome them into the parish community, offer resources for the religious education and faith formation of their pre-school children, and reserve a place for them in the parish school. This priority has been addressed in the following ways:
- Strategies for tracking and communicating with parents of newborn and preschool children were suggested.
- A variety of materials, methods, and processes for ongoing religious education and faith formation of pre-school children within the family were identified and developed.
- Strategies, action steps for a suggested schedule for implementation in 2013 through 2016 were communicated to pastors, principals, DREs and CREs.
