The CCHD internship is a stipend-provided, year-long opportunity for Catholics in the United States to gain experience in working with and on behalf of the poor.

CCHD internships combine practical work in carrying out the mandate of CCHD at the local level, opportunities to develop relationships with community leaders, reflection on Catholic social teaching, and opportunities for sharing the experience with other CCHD interns.

The St. Louis Archdiocese internship is 10 hours a week for the duration of a typical academic year (Sept-May). Interns receive $12/hr.  Interns must be available to attend an expenses-paid orientation with the staff of the Office of Justice, Peace, and Human Development at the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops in Washington, DC on June 1-3, 2016.
