Family Clinician (Part-time)
Good Shepherd Children & Family Services provides the highest quality foster care and treatment foster care, adoption, expectant parent counseling, maternity shelter, pregnancy services and advocacy. Good Shepherd has a part-time opening for a Family Clinician.
This position serves a diverse population of youth receiving services through the Department of Family Services as well as homeless teen moms. Under the direction of the Director of Treatment Services, the Family Clinician develops and regularly reviews individualized, strengths-based treatment plans for all clients assigned and provides individual, group and family therapy to clients and their families, as directed by the treatment plan. This position is a shared position between clients in the Maternity Program and the Treatment Foster Care Program. The Family Clinician also carries responsibility related to the recruitment, training and licensing of foster parents serving in Good Shepherd’s Treatment Foster Care (TFC) Program. The Family Clinician must work in collaboration with the Director of Treatment Services to maintain safe appropriate Treatment Foster Homes.
Master’s degree from an accredited program of Social Work, Counseling or Psychology or a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program of Social Work, Counseling or Psychology and two (2) years of related experience.
