Position Description: 

Queen of Peace Center has an opportunity for a full-time Clinical Manager of Children & Family Services. Queen of Peace Center is a family-centered behavioral healthcare provider for women with addiction, their children and families. The gender focused female recovery center provides a variety of treatment options to women with co-occurring disorders and those affected by trauma.

The Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing and developing the family-centered treatment programs including children, adolescent and family therapeutic services. Responsibilities include hiring, supervising, evaluating, scheduling and daily program management. Develop, plan and implement strategies for the programs’ continuation and growth. Provide clinical training to direct service/clinical staff and interns. This position must have a positive and supportive attitude toward recovery, the agency, its mission and continued success. This position provides clinical and personnel supervision of all clinical staff as well as oversight of contract and regulatory compliance. Manager must have the ability to continuously problem solve, think critically and globally with excellent decision-making skills.

1. The development and management of a high quality, evidence-based, gender-specific behavioral health treatment program and cohesive clinical team
2. Oversight of the Adolescent Resource Center and Family Program
3. Contribute to and work collaboratively on program development, evidence-based practice implementation, quality improvement and staff education
4. The development and management of clinical strategic planning
5. Clinical supervision of counselors, community support specialists and direct support staff
6. Proficient personnel and fiscal management
7. Understand and actively participate in fulfilling the mission of the organization
8. Oversight of Department of Mental Health’s Comprehensive Substance Treatment Rehabilitation (CSTAR) certification, the Saint Louis County Children’s Service Fund contract and other applicable funding sources
9. Maintain contract and grant compliance including participation in the audit process
10. Implementation and oversight of Council on Accreditation’s (COA) quality standards

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling or marriage and family therapy with a license in the State of Missouri
• Certified clinical supervisor with at least 5 years’ experience in behavioral healthcare and clinical supervision
• Program management experience
• Clinical experience with and comprehensive understanding of women with addiction as well as children and families impacted by maternal addiction
