This position is part of the Office of Information Technology located at the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO. Position Summary:
A Help Desk Analyst provides planning and implementation of departmental computer facilities, computer related problem solving, software support, user training, and support on workstation and printing facilities required by Archdiocesan users. This position also provides support over the phones to Archdiocese parishes and Agencies.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Research facilities needed for workstation and printing application needs
• Plan activities needed to implement selected products
• Implement, support, and train users on selected hardware and software products
• Configure Network and operating system specifications needed to support users
• Troubleshoot problems resulting from use of workstation and printing facilities
• Installation and support of Citrix clients and applications for remote users

Knowledge & Experience Requirements:
• Working knowledge of network and server concepts, current operating systems and products as well as database products and facilities
• In depth knowledge of workstation troubleshooting/problem solving processes, network and printing concepts as well as internet usage for vendor information and products
• In depth knowledge of network and operating system configurations required to support workstation needs
• In depth knowledge of popular workstation software including Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems
• Knowledge of Citrix products helpful
• Self-Starter, well organized, good oral and communication skills and ability to work well with associates and users
