Office Manager/Bookkeeper

Position Description: 

St. Stephen Protomartyr Catholic Parish has a full time position for an Office Manager/Bookkeeper. The Office Manager is responsible for a wide variety of office management and administrative duties. The Office Manager oversees the financial, physical and personnel resources of the parish. We also offer a competitive benefits package available upon hire .

Duties & Responsibilities:

Oversees the operation of the Parish Office
Supervisor to small staff
Prepares budget for parish and school
Records all finances for parish and school
Reports to pastor and finance council
Prepares payroll and administers Archdiocesan Personnel Policies
Calculates tuition and works closely with families on tuition receipts
Supervisor to small staff

Knowledge and Experience Requirements:

A college graduate with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or 3 – 5 years experience.
Knowledge of Quickbooks
Knowledge of Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn new systems
Ability to work with others
Good communication and organization skills
