Starting a Respect Life Club at your school?

Pro Life Curriculums
Huntsville Curriculum, a PreK-12 Curriculum, is an outstanding Catholic program, which contains 10 lessons per grade for pre-Kindergarten through Twelfth Grades. It also has in a separate folder 4 Power Point presentations for ninth Grade, and 2 articles for 11th and 12th grades. The entire program is contained in a zip folder for easier distribution.
A Catholic Respect Life Curriculum (For High School, College, And Adult Study assembled by Knights for Life) contains 15 lessons, Teacher Outline with Lesson Plans, 3 tests, and an appendix. It is a complete program; all that is required is that copies be made for distribution to class.
Whole Life Curriculum A holistic curriculum that constructs a worldview centered around the values of sanctity of life, purity, and social justice. Has Scope & Sequence, Sample Lesson plans, for Elementary, Middle, and High School. Received the Imprimatur from Bishop Robert H. Brom, 2010. ***Currently offering a 50% scholarship on the curriculum for parishes/schools who will implement it and give feedback and student work. The curriculum is a one-time purchase. No student books are required as all of the handouts are included as reproducible sheets.
Generations for Life Curriculum
Creation Lens: Exploring the World, Discovering God Currently has PreK-4 Lesson Plans (with plans for 5-8 and high school), designed to supplement existing curricula. Created by ITEST (Institute for Theological Encounter with Science and Technology. Underlying philosophy is that science and religion are complementary pathways toward greater knowledge of God.

- Janet Smith, well-known author and lecturer, best known for Contraception: Why Not (accompanying power point), has graciously made available to the Archdiocese of St. Louis all of her powerpoints on sexual ethics and bioethics, in both English and Spanish! There are accompanying mp3s for only $0.99! We are extremely grateful to her for her generosity.

Spiritual - Pray the rosary before School Masses for respect for life and the promotion of human dignity.
- Spiritual Adoption
- Participate in the Helpers of God's Precious Infants
Pastoral - Collect items for mothers, babies, and families
- “April Showers” baby collection.
- Support Lifeline Coalition members.
- Gifts for Baby Jesus at Christmastime
- Host a blood drive or blanket/diaper drive.
- Volunteer, as a group or individual
Educational - Join the RLA e-newsletter for Action Alerts and event updates.
- Pro-Life bulletin board with appropriate pictures and information.
- Borrow the RLA's Display (fetal models, brochures, tri-fold pre-made display)
- Provide life-affirming resources in the library.
- Offer precious feet pins, rose pins, bumper stickers, etc. to students/parishioners.
- Pro-Life sponsored booth at picnic, fair, etc.
- Attend educational events hosted by local pro life action agencies (see Lifeline Coalition and Links).
Public Policy - Contact state and federal elected officials on legislation pertaining to the sanctity of life.
- Host discussions on pending/current legislation
Fund Raising:
- Organize a pro-life t-shirt design contest, or "Who's that Baby" photo contest
- Sell precious feet pins
- Organize a luncheon/shower, plant sale, Bake sale, Pancake breakfast, $100 Club raffle or Silent auction.
