Action Alert! Today May be the Last Day to Ask Gov. Nixon to Sign SB 749 to Protect Religious Liberties

logoTomorrow May Be The Day!

Governor Nixon's office has announced an 11:00 am press conference for Thursday, July 12. It is anticipated that he will announce his decision to sign or veto SB 749, The Religious Liberty Bill that passed both the House and Senate in May. He has until Saturday, July 14, to sign, veto, or allow it to pass without signature.

Reporters are asking Gov. Nixon whether he will sign or veto SB 749, but so far the governor has been non-committal, though he has observed that current Missouri law already protects religious liberty.

Take Action Today!

In just two minutes, you can email Gov. Nixon and urge him to sign SB 749. Click here to send the governor a pre-composed message or call (573) 751-3222.

Every message counts. Let's not allow the media or anyone else to say after this is all over, "Well, the sentiment was about 50-50 so the governor had no clear sign of what people thought." It needs to be clear to everyone that most Missouri citizens want the governor to sign SB 749.

Please forward to family and friends. >>Read More
