Alive in Christ! Scholarship Program for Archdiocesan Catholic Elementary Schools
The "Alive in Christ!" Scholarship Program is part of Archbishop Robert J. Carlson's strategic plan for Catholic Education in the Archdiocese of St. Louis. In an effort to promote active recruitment and increased enrollment of children in Catholic elementary schools, the “Alive in Christ!” Scholarship Program seeks to provide financial assistance to those families (both Catholic and Non-Catholic) who wish to offer their children an education at a Catholic elementary school in the archdiocese. Scholarship awards are based upon financial need of the applicant and will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis.
Please return the completed application with your 2014 Federal Tax Returns (Form 1040, just the first two pages) and proof of any other social service income. If you have not yet filed a 2014 federal tax return, copies of your 2013 federal tax return or current W-2's will suffice.
For families currently receiving the Alive in Christ Scholarship: previously awarded families are required to requalify annually to maintain their scholarship. The scholarship program currently accepting new applications for the 2015-2016 school year is not for those students who already receive an Alive in Christ scholarship. It is for new applicants ONLY. Currently awarded scholarship students do not have to submit any paperwork until Requalification paperwork is sent out in late March (this will be mailed directly).
