Description: Lectio Divina is Latin for sacred reading and represents a traditional Christian practice of prayer. Lectio Divina begins with cultivating the ability to listen deeply, to hear "with the ear of our hearts" and is intended to promote communion with God and to deepen God's Word in our lives. The practice of Lectio Divina requires that we first quiet down in order to hear God's word to us. We listen for the still, small voice of God who will speak to us personally--not loudly, but intimately. Come, experience and practice Lectio Divina in a sacred place.
