KENRICK GLENNON DAYS JUNIOR COUNSELOR PROGRAM

Kenrick-Glennon Days...on the road!
Young men who have completed at least one year of high school are eligible to participate in Kenrick-Glennon Days as a junior counselor (JC). The high school program places these high school men on their own retreat, while enlisting their help as junior counselors to assist the camper program. Junior counselors work beside seminarians in leading small groups and learn first hand what it means to be servants of the Gospel. The groups are easily identified by the color on their name tags, and all groups are given a chance to create a group name on the first night.
Junior Counselors will be limited to 30 campers and the JC program will be highlighted with orientation sessions prior to the arrival of camp participants. Junior counselors will be asked to arrive at the new Seminary location at 1100 Bellevue Dr. St. Louis, MO 63117 on Thursday May 31st at 3:00 p.m. for a Formation Retreat. The retreat will conclude with the First Friday Holy Hour for Vocations at St. Mary Magdalen Parish at 8:30 p.m. All JC's will be expected to report to the Pallottine Renewal Center for Kenrick-Glennon Days Camp on Saturday June 2nd at 1:00 p.m. Following the last group of campers (June 6th), all JC's will participate in a prayer and "insights" session which will conclude at 3 p.m.
Due to construction on the seminary grounds, Kenrick-Glennon Days (KGD), for the summer of 2012 will again be held in at the Pallottine Renewal Center 15270 Old Halls Ferry Road, Florissant, MO 63034. Each session of camp will be limited to 75 campers. Kenrick-Glennon Days is staffed by the seminarians and priests of the Archdiocese of St. Louis and is sponsored by the Office of Vocations, under the supervision of the Vocation Director, Fr. Chris Martin.
All JC's must submit the two-part application and a medical release form . Cost $75 Registration Closed.
