Employee Flu Vaccine Program in October/November

A flu vaccine is provided to all active Archdiocesan employees, spouses, and their dependent children, compliments of the Archdiocese Employee Wellness Program. We offer the flu vaccine to your dependent children 9 - 25 years old, however, ages 9 -17 need to have their parent/guardian attend with them.

No appointments are required or accepted. You may receive your flu vaccine at any of the 45 differnt locations throughout the entire Archdiocese. The employee's proof of employment (copy of current paycheck or health insurance ID card) may be required in order to receive your vaccine.

The hosting location listing shows the scheduled dates, locations, and time for the October/November 2017 Flu program. An attached UnitedHealthcare flyer also provides you with additional area locations to get your flu vaccine.

Employee with UnitedHealthcare Weight Loss Program

You may be eligible to participate in UnitedHealthcare (UHC)'s great online, supportive Real Appeal weight loss program. This program is available to employees, spouses and dependents 18 and older covered under our UnitedHealthcare insurance plan and with a BMI of 23 or greater at no cost, not even a co-pay or deductible.

The Archdiocese of St. Louis participating employees and family members have lost 2, 272 pounds through Real Appeal in the last year, July 1, 2016 - June 1, 2017.

If you have not yet signed up there is time to join by accessing the archstl.realappeal.com using a smartphone, table or personal computer. The program offers 52 weeks of online coaching and support and a success kit full of tools to help you succeed.

Employee Wellness Screenings

In September 2017 the Archdiocese of St. Louis is sponsoring the H&H Health Associates Wellness Screenings at 33 different hosting locations throughout the Archdiocese area. Any benefit eligible employee may participate. Do you want to make an appointment?

Employee Wellness Incentive Program For 2017 - 2018

DO YOU WANT TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEALTH AND RECEIVE AN EXTRA $250.00 IN YOUR RETIREMENT PLAN? The Archdiocese has a goal to promote, improve, and integrate employee wellness. The Archdiocse offers a wellness incentive program, and we hope you choose to participate in it.  Please continue to read below: 

For the Plan Year July 1, 2017 - June 30, 2018

Benefit eligible employees, with at least one year of service and either working a minimum of 1,000 hours annually or a teacher with a half-time contract, may annually complete one of the following in order to receive an Archdiocesan paid, $250.00 contribution to their Archdiocese of St. Louis sponsored 403(b) retirement plan: 

  • Receive an annual wellness exam with your physician of choice between May 1, 2017 and April 30, 2018 and submit the Employee Wellness Form 2017 - 2018 Plan Year  to H&H Health Associates. The deadline for the H&H to receive the completed Employee Wellness Form is May 7, 2018.       

                                                                                  OR 

  • Participate in the Archdiocesan paid, confidentail H&H Health Associates health screening between May 1, 2017 and April 30, 2018.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Participation in the health insurance plan is not a requirement to be eligible to receive the $250 retirement contribution.
  • Religious sisters, brothers, and priests are not eligible to receive the $250 retirement plan contribution; however, they are eligible for an annual Archdiocesan paid H&H health screening.
  • If you were hired on or before May 1, 2017, and have been working either a minimum of 1,000 hours annually or a teacher with a half-time or more contract, you have fulfilled the one year of service requirement.
  • If you receive an H&H health screening, you do not need to submit the Employee Wellness Form.
  • The $250 retirement plan contribution will be processed on or near June 30, 2018, if you completed the above criteria.
