Music Workshops:

The Office of Sacred Music and the Office of Sacred Worship will be hosting three workshops on the new Mass settings for the Roman Missal, Third Edition.  These workshops are open to the public, however the main focus of material is geared towards Music Directors and parish musicians.  The three workshops will be held in September at the Cardinal Rigali Center:

National Workshops on the New Roman Missal

Liturgical Institute Presents: "Mystical Body, Mystical Voice" workshop

    Date: Saturday October 8^th 2011, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m

    Description:  This workshop will be a national conference, open to the faithful from any diocese.  The entire        program will be presented over the course of a single day, .  Lunch and light refreshments, as well as a copy of        the Participants Guide, are included in the cost of registration. 

       It is the hope of the Liturgical Institute that this event will provide an opportunity for those who have not               yet been able to attend a diocesan sponsored event, as well as review for those who may have already                  attended a workshop.

Other New Roman Missal Workshops Hosted Around the Archdiocese

Presentation on the New Roman Missal for Youth Ministers There will be 2 opportunities to catch this presentation on September 29, 2011.

1. September 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Jason Schumer will be presenting what he teaches as a course at the Seminary in a one hour presentation. 

2. September 29, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. Fr. Jason Schumer will again be presenting information on the New Roman Missal.

Praying with the Third Edition of the Roman Missal Workshop hosted by Annunziata (There are 2 programs listed below so please make sure you register for the one you wish to attend): Contact Mary Wainscott with questions: 314-993-4422 or mary@annunziata.org 

1. Presentation: Lifting Up Our Hearts.  Praying with Third Edition of the Roman Missal by Peter J. Zografos,      published by RENEW International.  These sessions are free, however we please ask that you fill out a registration form.

2. Presentation: A Biblical Walk Through the Mass: This superb 5-week DVD presentation, featuring the very energetic Dr. Sri, was offered in the spring, and will be repeated.
