The Western Vicariate Office is one of three vicariate offices in the Archdiocese of St. Louis, each structured to serve the faithful of the Archdiocese by providing pastoral and administrative support for a group of parishes defined by geographic region.

Within its boundaries, the Western Vicariate encompasses 50 parishes which are further grouped into two collaborative entities known as deaneries: 28 parishes in Deanery 5 (covering the southern portion of our region) and 22 parishes in Deanery 6 (covering the northern portion of our region).

The Western Vicariate is led by our Episcopal Vicar, Very Reverend John Brockland, JCL, JV, VE, and two deans: Very Reverend Monsignor Patrick Hambrough, VF (Deanery 5), and Very Reverend Nicholas Kastenholz, JCL, VF (Deanery 6).
