Father James Grady pleads guilty in federal case

From April 2010: Father James P. Grady pleaded guilty March 31 in federal court to one count of possessing child pornography.

Father James P. Grady pleaded guilty March 31 in federal court to one count of possessing child pornography. Under the plea arrangement. His sentencing is scheduled for June 25.
Father Grady was arrested July 29 and charged July 30 last year in an undercover operation by FBI agents and local law enforcement officers. Shortly after learning of the charges, Archbishop Robert J. Carlson announced that Father Grady had been suspended from his duties as pastor of St. Raphael Parish in St. Louis.
Of the case, Archbishop Carlson said: "this is certainly very sad and a time to pray for Father Grady and all those who suffer with an addiction of any kind.".
