About Sister Gwen Do: Being the youngest of six children, I have received unwavering support from my parents and siblings throughout my life of consecration. My Vietnamese heritage has become an integral part of understanding my personal identity, first as a child of God and then as a witness for Christ Jesus in my religious life. Teaching and sharing the beauty of the Catholic faith, particularly with youth, as well as with adults, have been a source of great joy for me. My favorite part of religious life is being able to live in the same house as Jesus. With the privilege of having the Blessed Sacrament reserved in the chapel of the convent, it is a true gift to be able to visit our Lord throughout the day and to deepen my relationship with Him, along with the sisters in my religious community — the Congregation of Mary, Queen.
