Sr. BrowningSister Marie Goretti Browning, 91, an Ursuline Sister of Mount Saint Joseph, died Jan. 29 at Mount Saint Joseph in Kentucky. She was 91 years old and in her 74th year of religious life.
Sister Marie Goretti was a native of Calvary, Kentucky. She taught at Seven Holy Founders School in Affton from 1959-64. She also served elsewhere in Kentucky and at the Ursuline Motherhouse.
Survivors include the members of her religious community; her sister, Sister Clarita Browning, OSU, Maple Mount; and nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was to be celebrated Feb. 1 at Mount Saint Joseph.
