1992 Our Lady of Perpetual Help was founded as a German national church in 1874. The first church, blest in 1875, was later replaced by a new edifice in 1888 at 2011 Linton. A school was begun in 1875 taught by the School Sisters of Notre Dame. In the period of 1971-1983 it was staffed by Sacred Heart Fathers. A fire in 1987 destroyed the church and in 1992 the parish merged with Holy Name and Most Holy Trinity as the Most Holy Trinity location. The Archdiocese currently owns the land (2009).
