1992 St Barbara, located at Hamilton and Minerva, was a German national church established in 1893. A school, completed in 1895, was staffed by the School Sisters of Notre Dame. A second church building was erected in 1906. In 1995, it became part of the merger of St. Edward, St. Mark, and Notre Dame of Lourdes in the newly established St. Augustine Parish, at the St. Barbara site.
