St. John Nepomuk

St. John Nepomuk National Bohemian was established 1854. It was the lst Bohemian church in the United States. New churches were built in 1873 and 1887, the last being at 1625 S. 11^th St. The parish school, begun in 1869, was staffed by the School Sisters of Notre Dame. Closed as a parish in 2005, it is now open as a chapel.
