White Mass for Catholic Health Care Professionals
The Archdiocese of St. Louis celebrates a 'White Mass' every year for those involved in healthcare. The Mass is associated with St. Luke, the patron of physicians and surgeons. His feast day is October 18.
2010 White Mass
The annual “White Mass” for the special intentions of healthcare professions will be celebrated by Archbishop Robert J. Carlson at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 17, at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis (4431 Lindell Blvd. at Newstead). All men and women religious and Catholic laypersons serving in the healthcare professions are invited to attend.
